Where learning begins through direct instruction
These gatherings offer an opportunity to engage directly with Hawaiian knowledge through guided instruction. AO is the space where learning begins — where understanding is developed through listening, observation, and participation.
Many who enter through these teachings continue into Foundations of Mana O Kahiko, where the deeper structure of learning is established before moving into the pathways of Ho‘oponopono, Lomilomi, or Hula.
PULE: The Art of Prayer
Masterclass
Prayer within Hawaiian tradition is not performance. It is relationship, discipline, and attention. In this live masterclass, participants are introduced to the meaning and practice of pule and how prayer can become part of daily life.
PONO: The Bowl of Light
Masterclass
Pono is the state of alignment between spirit, mind, and body. When these are in balance, the light within a person shines clearly. This masterclass explores the mo‘olelo of the Bowl of Light and the deeper understanding it carries about living in pono.
Lima — Healing Hands Masterclass
In the Hawaiian healing traditions, the hands are instruments of awareness, connection, and care. Lima is an introduction to listening through the hands and understanding how touch can restore harmony within the body.
Kino — The Hula Basics Masterclass
This masterclass introduces the essential foundations of hula — posture, basic steps, rhythm, tempo, spatial awareness, and emotional expression. Participants will learn how the body moves with intention, how rhythm guides the feet, and how feeling gives life to the movement.
More to come….
Additional introductory teachings will be offered throughout the year as opportunities arise.
