MANA O KAHIKO Spirit Power of Our Ancestors

Welina kākou, welcome to the homepage of Mana O Kahiko.

In October and November we will be hosting our 10-day MANA O HAWAII RETREAT with Kumu Paʻa Lawrence Aki from Molokai, Hawaii & Mana O Kahiko. It will encompass Hula (Hawaiian Dance), Traditional Hoʻoponopono (Hawaiian process of making right, to heal any kind of relationship) and Traditional Lomilomi (Hawaiian Bodywork).

"Mana O Hawaii means Spirit Power of the islands of Hawaii"

The MANA O HAWAII- Spirit Power of Hawaii Retreat will be held from October 27 to November 5, 2016 in Dungog, NSW.

Previously this retreat was intended to be three separate five-days retreats, as was advertised in Living Now Magazine amongst others. We decided to make it a longer 10-day retreat to give you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the three main aspects of Hawaiian Tradition and Teachings which is Hula, Lomilomi and Hoʻoponopono. Braided into one retreat, it will give you a greater understanding and stronger foundation in any healing modality or other profession.

The retreat will be led by Kumu Paʻa Lawrence Aki, 50th generation of traditional Hawaiian Teachings. Kumu Paʻa Lawrence Aki is an authority on Hawaiian Culture and Spirituality on the island of Molokai, and in Hawaii generally. Kumu means a ʻsourceʻ or ʻteacherʻ in Hawaiian. He has a lot of experience in teaching, leading individual and group sessions and workshops both in Hawaii and internationally in Switzerland, the Netherlands, and in Australia. His apprentice, or in Hawaiian Poʻupuaʻa Kawika Foster, 51st generation, will join him in leading this unique retreat, as well as his other two students Kyrian van Vliet and Kathryn Roberts.
